I believe that my Triton Ones are more efficient than my Triton Sevens. This belief is based upon using my AB Speaker capability on my Cambridge Azur 851A Amplifier to listen to both my Ones and Sevens at the same time.

If my supposition is correct, could Mr. Moderator or Sandy provide some specific information about the relative efficiency of these two Triton speakers?

Thanks,

Art

92 and 89 db. That data is part of the specs already in the public domain. So yes, T1 is more efficient than T7.

Thanks GDHAL - I thought about looking at the specs after I created the post. Actually, 3 db delta is significant. Since I am using my Sevens as "rear fronts" and driving them with my Cambridge B Speaker terminals, I can easily hear the difference in volume levels between the Ones and the Sevens.

I am considering employing one of my older Sony AV receivers to drive the Sevens so that I can independently control their volume level. If I do so, I would give up the "Cambridge Sound" for the Sevens.

"If I were a rich man" as the song goes, I could just buy another Cambridge.

Oh, well............
