It's interesting how we all can find different ways to enjoy what we love, music. When I'm "doing stuff", my choice in music is on the softer side, often piano or acoustic guitar, not usually "serious stuff" like symphonies. In those cases, the music seems to go directly to my right brain... it's just relaxing, makes whatever I'm doing more enjoyable, be it reading, or catching up on paperwork. Gorgeous passages will grab me, pull me out of whatever I'm doing, bring me to full attention on the music.

Walking with headphones on, or driving with the radio on, I prefer livelier music.

When sitting and doing serious listening or listening/watching, it runs the gamut.

Whatever works for whoever is doing the listening! :)

Thanks Bro. Rick,
Yes, I forgot driving, I like to have music on, and LOVE to listen to it, but my co-passengers TALK most of the time, spoiling that.
But I love em.
Can't live with em, can't live without them!!!!
Now we know what Bro Anthem does, he is DANCING and head bobbin'!!!!!!!
So, yes, we are all different.
Happy listening, however you do it,
God Bless,
Wayne

I'm with Rick on this one. I like a soundtrack on the story that is my life. Background music is a good thing: no matter where I find myself. Well, almost anywhere. If it's not music, it's some sort of programming. The only time I like silence is when I'm reading.

Cheers,

Hey Guys,
My 95 year old Dad, sharp as a tack (until this last week he emailed every day, went to visit those in jail every week, VERY active in their church), has just taken ill and is not likely to survive much longer.
I am trying to find flights back to see him in OK before he goes, IF possible.
So I will likely be traveling and not on much for a bit.
Any prayers would really be appreciated.
God Bless,
Wayne

Wayne,

So sorry to hear your Father is not well. I hope this finds you already with family in OK. We've experienced a significant amount of loss in our family as well over the last 24 months. While people always complain about their physical decline as they age, the hardest part for me by far has been watching those I love and that have meant so much to me decline. The older we get, the more profound that loss becomes.

It sounds like your Father was a good man and has had a long, and full life. Seems like the apple didn't fall far from the tree... I'll pray for you and your family during this difficult time. Safe travels and God speed!

Sincerely,

T Cobe
