I have moved my KLH floor speakers to the Front to serve as Centers for Video (they can also be run as a second pair of Fronts for audio). I have moved my SuperSat 3Cs to the Upper Rear Surround position, powered by my Denon AVR 790 and replacing the Advents which were in that location (Advents retired). Finally, I have moved my Altec-Lansing floor speakers to the Lower Side Surround position, powered by my Onkyo and replacing a second pair of KLH floor speakers (KLHs retired).
All of this rearrangement had two purposes: (1) To make better use of my GE Speakers and (2) to support my latest listening experiment (all channel stereo from both my Onkyo and my Denon Receivers). For all-channel stereo, I have set the LFE gain levels on both my Triton Ones and my Paradigm sub to mid-point (12:00 o'clock) position. I have also adjusted the volume levels of the various surround speakers to keep the focus on the Triton One Fronts when I listen from my PLP.
So far, I am enjoying the experience of being surrounded with sound.
Happy listening to all.

Hi, Art
Way to go. You are quite the adventurous experimenter!
I agree. Surround mode can really add to the sense of depth and immersion.
Happy listening!
