Hey csprad68,
Thanks for that post, that is a good looking setup you have there and IF I am not mistaken, I suspect you might be a bass head like me?
I am not clear on this: do you have 2 (a pair) of FF4s and 2 (a pair) of FF5s??????
How do the Aons work sitting on the ForceFields? Seems to me there might be a little bit too much movement when the FFs play, that might adversely affect the Aons.
Also looks like you are a little squeezed for space around the rear of the movie room. Is it possible for you to move your sofa forward a little bit and give a little more clearance for the surrounds next to the guests?
Can I ask how far is the sofa from the TV? And how far apart are the front left and left speakers?
You have height speakers too? How does it all sound?
That is an exciting looking movie room, well done, pls tell us more.
And enjoy the listening and movies,
God Bless,
Wayne

Nice setup...how did you mount the SC XL?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hi WayneWilmeth,
I do enjoy bass,I do have a pair of FF4's and a pair of FF 5's.I run the Aon3's and Xl center full range thru the speaker level inputs on the FF4's.
The Aons do real good on top of the FF4's.Custom made stands filled with sand and 1/4" sound padding between subs, stands, and Aon's.
I sit 10' from 60" plasma, the speakers are about 9' apart with slight toe in.
Yeah I'm kind of cramped on surround channels, but it sounds very nice.
The bi polar bp2's are facing front ward.
The clr 2002's behind the couch are for 9ch music sacd/Dvd audio.
I love this setup, sound is amazing.

Hi csprad68,
I just saw your good reply, sorry to be so slow.
That looks like an awesome setup. I can't believe all the thought and work you have put into your system.
I just have a small suggestion. How about you move the sofa closer to the TV? That would give your rear surrounds some more room to breathe, get the listener a little further from them and the viewer closer to that equilateral triangle that is recommended between the front speakers and your main listening position.
AND I find most people sit too far back from their TVs. I know people suggest further away, but I find watching movies closer gives more immersion into the movie, more of the peripheral vision is involved.
IF you try that, move the sofa forward, and toe in the front towers a little toward the MLP, I think the sound all around will be better and picture too.
Just a thought.
Let us know more as it really is a wonderful system.
Have fun listening and watching movies,
God Bless,
Wayne
