Sounds great and noticeably better than Spotify. Streaming from Ipad4 to Apple TV and Toslink connection to my Dac.

Anyone else had a chance to try Tidal with Tritons?
Good times, good wine, and great music !!

I first read about it right here, but a little research revealed why it's so low key: the service only officially launched on the 30th. I'm very pleased with the sound (Apple Macbook OSX -> Tidal player -> airplay -> Pioneer SC-57 -> pair of Triton ones). To me, there's no discernible difference between my CDs and the same albums streaming from Tidal. The price is high compared to other streaming services, but low compared to what you'd have to shell out to buy the equivalent in CDs. After years of waiting it seems that high-quality streaming is finally here.

Loving it thus far, pretty good catalog and the sound matches the SQ on my CDs.
Have not compared to 24/96 or 192, not sure if I would hear a difference though on a blind test?

Easy to get ADD with Tidal as you do not need get up to change music !!
$20 month is a bargain for this service, just like the Triton ones are a great value for their price, and a true bargain if you can negociate a discount and get them for less !!

The high-def stuff is still somewhat controversial. My own experiments lead me to believe hi-def definitely improves dynamic range, but my core listening is with rock/pop, so it's not as important. I'm thinking what my strategy might be is to find the stuff I like using this service, and if I think the music might benefit from high def, picking up a copy then.
