I just had my 7.1 system installed on 2/8/14. Even before the break-in period the system is amazing. The highs are clear and crisp, the mids are perfect and the bass thumps! Kudos to GE for making such great lines of speakers and a reasonable price point. Will update after the speakers are "broken-in". Looking forward to even better sound.

I am especially interested in how you like your center channel speaker? You got the X, not the XL, right? Please tell us how it sounds once broken in?
I think I will go with that one too, I don't have room for the XL.
Will you use this system mostly for movies or for music? Please let me know how the SC X sounds for music, if you don't mind?

So my system his roughly 4 months old and well broken in. The SuperCenter X is amazing and the Triton 2s really deliver in every way. The depth and realism is amazing. An example is yesterday we were watching a move that had a dog whimpering and my guests thought it was our dogs.

Last week we had a block party on our street and I'm one of the few with the media room completed. They talked me into giving a demo of my system so I had 9 guys in my media room listening. They loved it so much that at least 2 of them are getting my exact speaker setup.

Looks like I'll live on a GoldenEar dominated street and I couldn't be happier.
