High pitched ringing coming from one of the Triton One speaker that I purchased April.

The pitch is really high (quite annoying ) eventhough it is not lound, only happens in one speaker.

It is very similar to what Michael Mcgrath a couple months ago so I use his post to describe this issue :

" for a few days i've been trying to find this annoying ringing sound i hear in my room. I've finally identified it as the new triton one towers. Its coming from about halfway up the speaker. When i unplug the power it goes away(after the blue light turns off). When I plug them back in it comes back after the boot up sequence and I send a sound to the speaker.

I've tried different power cables and wall sockets, even running them through a monster 500 power cleaner thing.

Any ideas what this could be caused by?
Michael McGrath."

The only difference is the noise is only coming from one speaker. I suspected it was caused by the power supply issue or defeated amp (maybe one channel is defeated and sending this high pitch signal). Thus I tried switched the position of the speakers to test this. However the same speaker still making ringing noise eventhough it is using the power supply of the non problematic speaker oruginally and different channel of the amplifier.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry to hear that - does the noise go away when the speaker is unplugged from the power? If so, contact your dealer with the serial number and a description of the problem and they will get replacement electronics modules for you. We have seen a few instances of this and it is a known problem occurring in a few units in the 0715 production batch.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, the noise goes away when the speaker is unplugged from the power.

The serial number is BLCB N 104 1500 469, not sure whether this is one of the affected batch.

I will contact the dealer, thank you so much for your help.

Many thanks,
Chee

Sorry for the trouble. Nope, not part of that batch so just some unknown failure. The dealer will need to replace the electronics modules for you, once they get the parts it only takes a few minutes.
