Great headphone suggestions, guys.
But as you can see, the Moderator has confirmed that GE HEADPHONES are "still absolutely happening" and will include the "awesome HVFR"...so, with that being said, I for one, am willing to wait for their debut. I have a feeling Rick and T Cobe will do the same.

I could never wait that long to have good music through good headphones. I would just add the GE products to my small collection. If Sandy puts as much attention to detail as he does for the rest of the GE products (and I would assume no less) then these will be my go to headphones. I have to say though if these headphones matched or exceeded the performance of HifiMan upper level headphones....I would be duly impressed. The sound field and quality on them is nothing short of mind boggling. Even the lower level headphones I recommended (after about a 200 hour break in period) after changing out the foam earpads for leather....are pretty crazy. I flip between my Aon 2's and these headphones all the time.
