You're a riot. I guess you made it to India...1 week of work? The wife and I are taking alittle vacation time this week. We are gonna stop at Acoustic Sounds in Salina, Kansas (60 miles) & look at tube preamps. They carry Rogue Audio, Croft, Pass Labs etc. I'd like to listen to a Mystere CA11 (1795.00) but no dealers in the state. I've never heard tubes....period...this should be an interesting experience. I'll let you know how things went. Also looking into the Oppo 105...from all the reviews, seems to be the player to beat.

I have never heard the Oppo 105, but I have a 83SE and now a 95, which uses the same DACs as the 105. The picture quality is amazing. The 105 can do way more, I think you will be VERY impressed. I will probably get one soon as I can save some money.
