WOW Roman!!!!! Welcome here!!!!!
You are bringing a different voice and some varied music here, that is very welcome!!!!!
The first one is not my speed, but the second number bears looking for, I want to hear that on a real system, my laptop speakers were distorting on the bass the whole song.
Thanks for contributing here!
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks, My tastes are ALL over the map. So sure not everything will please everyone, but you will get a very wide spectrum from me. I love Dub and chill step, classical, electronica, even some rap, rock, classic rock, grunge, world music.....alternative, jazz....even some opera. (A friend sings opera and has dragged me kicking and screaming into that world...lol) So my 51 years is actually no indicator of my tastes. :) If its unique....has a good sound stage, isn't cookie cutter and has some showing of talent, it will probably catch my ear. I look forward to learning some new artists here too.

Let the fun begin!!!!

Ok....here is one of my all time favorite albums (In its entirety as every song on it I just love). This is what I will be listening to this morning as I go about my day.

It is in the Dance/Chillstep arena of music, but there is some very interesting, thoughtful, melodic stuff going on here. More World Music to me with a dub/chill influence.

Group - Ocean Lab (known now as Above & Beyond)
Album - Sirens of the Sea

Enjoy!

Ok, I don't know how to attach a video so if you want to hear what I'm spinning on disc, you're going to have to GTS.

Ray Charles, Genius Loves Company: An album full of classics recorded with a variety of super stars including Norah Jones, James Taylor, Diana Krall, Elton John, Natalie Cole, Bonnie Rait, Willie Nelson, well, you get the idea. Sound quality is pretty amazing. Definitely woth a listen.

Benjamin Booker's self titled 2014 break out album that received a lot of critical acclaim. Rolling Stone listed him in the top ten new stars of 2014 and Tone Audio listed his debut album in the top ten of the best records of 2014. He sound like a fusion of blues, classic rock, and garage band: think The Doors, The Black Keys, and Van Morrisson all roled into one. Music is great but the sound quality is gritty and visceral like a garage band recording. Hopefully he'll get linked up with a better studio for his next release.

Happy listening!
