Thanks for the PC report! I'm running Red Dawns to my streamer (Auralic) and two amps. Your description of the change in your streamer PC sounds a lot like what I heard when I switched from my Oppo to the Auralic for streaming. But, darned if I can remember if I put in the Red Dawn at the same time. I think I did. So maybe the change I heard was at least partly the PC upgrade.

Yes, I'm a believer in PCs too. I heard a difference just going to a bigger gage PC to my Tritons. More and cleaner bass, similar to the change I heard with the Heimdall to the DAC/Pre.

I have resisted upgrading the PC to my P20. I'm using a 20A rated cord there, and given the massive power supply in the P20, it's hard for me to believe a better PC would make a difference there. But people on the PS Audio forum do claim to hear a difference.

I think my next upgrade may be to try the IsoAcoustics Oreas under my DAC/Pre. I haven't tried serious exotica under my boxes yet. (I may have a space problem, so I need to do a little engineering on that front.)
