I'm using the Oppo 205 for all playback. I'm also using Herbie's Tenderfoot under the Oppo. The Super Black Hole is 2 inches wide and fits right over the hole on the label side. With the Super Black Hole in place, instruments seem more stable in the soundscape. There's also a better separation of instruments which makes for locating each individual instrument in the soundscape much easier.

As for Blu ray discs, I don't know why it wouldn't work. It will be interesting to hear what Herbie's has to say.

I talked to Herbie's today, and they confirmed that the Super Black Hole CD Mat does work on Blu-rays also, so ordered one, and the Tenderfoot isolators for the Oppo , should arrive by next Monday latest. I'll try the Mat first, then add the isolators, and give some feedback next week.
