Thinking back, the T2's can not compete with the T Refs on this drum track.
Phenomenal sound at high volume levels, almost to the point of producing a headache. Man Up, Cupcake!

Hi, Anthem

Catching up on a couple days of GEt forum posts. Great percussion here! Got the album lined up for some headache level listening tomorrow AM! Gotta' man up for this, I guess! :cheer:

Matt Marshak/COLORS of Me (2012) -- Soul Reason

Something new I started Saturday and finished up today.
Nice! Sonically pleasing.
I like Marshak's style...

Mindi Abair/Come as you are (2004) -- High Five

Killer track with plenty of bass oomph. As of late, Mindi has morphed into a Rock & Roll Queen. This cd, as well as her earlier recordings, are the "True Mindi"...

Today I installed (2) 12AU7 Philip Holland ECC88 (1972) from Tube World Express, in my PrimaLuna Preamp. I put the Philip's on the inside, and Gold Lion on the outside. I'll give them time to break-in, and hopefully by this weekend she'll be ready to impress me.

Enjoy rolling the tubes Bro Anthem, Good luck.
In my limited experience, the little tubes like this don't make much difference in the sound at all, at least not a big difference like the POWER tubes do.
YMMV.
Enjoy, Happy Listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hubert Laws/Moondance (2004) -- Stay with Me

Sounding spectacular this afternoon.
The "Little Tubes" & "Power Cords" do make a difference, Mr. Wilmeth, and most times for the better. I'm a BELIEVER!:cheer:
