This was a favorite demo track (for bass evaluation especially) back in the late 90's, used by all the good speaker companies (including the one I was with back then). Great cut.

Yep...definitly on my short list of track to choose when testing speakers AND headphones.

I listened to that track on the YouTube link, then I got intrigued and listened to it again streaming CD quality from Tidal. There was a huge difference in the bass. Tidal being much better. This is the second time I've noticed bass anomalies on YouTube videos. I don't know what they're doing, but it sure is strange.

Woody Shaw/Rosewood -- Every time I see You

Another Very Satisfing Listening session with Woody Shaw's Rosewood cd. Named 1977 Jazz album of the year, and rightfully so.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Yeah, Bro Roman, you pulled it out, redeemed yourself big time. Maybe April, never heard of them, but enjoyed that.
That was good stuff and the two lips live up to their name!!!!
I couldn't get past the F bombs above, but the picture "turmoil in the skies" is your BEST EVER to me!!!! That is fantastic, and reminds me (and probably everyone else) of a Van Gogh, a few hours before Starry Night.
Keep em coming
Thanks, God Bless,
Wayne

I do have to ask the question. I saw a note about not posting videos with "F" bomb in them. If there is no F bomb in my actual post and I warn people ahead of time "so they don't have to click it if they are offended by such things" And the music IS good. How is this any different than recommending a movie that has the "F" bomb in it? (just about every movie you could recommend and there are a lot recommended in "what video did you just watch" post) Just curious as to the logic.

Bro Roman,
Fair enough!!! You warned us of the language, fair enough.
Fair enough about the movies, I hold music up to a MUCH higher standard than I do movies, because music is beautiful and movies rarely are!!! Hollywood is despicable to me, but music is AWESOME!!!
But you are right, that is a double standard.
I was fine with just passing on it in your video for me personally, don't like it.
Don't like it in movies either, but I feel everyone is already warned about them, I doubt that anyone expects to see a movie without vulgar language.
IF you wish me to issue a warning as you were kind enough to do, about movies, I will try and listen harder, I tend to try and overlook it, let it roll by.
Not an adequate answer, you have a very valid point.
God Bless,
Wayne
