Thanks, Wayne! That's a keeper. Are your amps back from repair? Are you running this through tubes? I'd bet this sounds great through a good tube amp...

I do not have my amp back yet, and my home theater (main listening location) is in a bit of disrepair. So I have been listening to this on headphones. But YES, tubes are in there, I am using a tube amp for my headphones (HiFiMan HE 400i).

I have decided this will be one of my new go to albums to check out my system when I get it back together SOON I hope and pray!!!!

Rachmaninov - The Symphonies - Concertgebouw Orchestra - Vladimir Ashkenazy conducting!

OK - blowing the house away - walls vibrating - and have the Decware Torii MKIV (25 watts) turned way down - maybe the house is dancing! Love the T1s - doing their job with elegance! Feels like I am there in the concert hall - but a much better seat!
