Dream Theater, Illumination Theory. DVD in 5.1. Sweet. Exercising the new XMC-1. Haven't had much time with it yet. Haven't used Dirac Live yet. Only speaker distance, size, and levels set. Initial reaction: SUPER clean and crisp audio. WOW. I have to say I'm surprised given the minimal tweaking to the XMC-1 settings so far because the Onkyo is damn good.

Video not quite as vivid as the Onkyo but a few small tweaks in the projector brought it in line.

Video is largely passthrough, but very good detailed information about the signal. Onkyo remote is better, FWIW. Onkyo out-of-box experience much better. XMC requires fair amount of manual set up (But worth it :-). Will post separate review after I've played with Dirac. Bottom line, audio is the best I've experienced so far.
