I was finally able to acquire a pair of Reference. I was very happy with my T1s but I had one of those too good to pass up opportunities on the T Refs.
I purchased the T1s from an authorized dealer. They sat in a multi media room in a non smoking home and were enjoyed mostly for home theater, some music. They are in perfect condition and sound amazing. I have the manuals, feet, all original packaging and boxes with matching numbers. I am now asking $2950, down from $3500. I am in the Suffolk county/ Nassau county NY area.

Congratulations on the upgrade to References, by all accounts they're amazing. My home listening space is about to more than double in size, so I'll probably be upgrading my Triton Twos (also purchased new) to Triton Ones soon in order to handle the extra volume.

Would you mind sharing how large your listening space is, and of course whether the jump to Reference is worth the extra money?

Hey Thanks. My room is 14'w x 19'd x 8'h. I had the original Triton one's. Going from them to the Reference was an unbelievable difference. I have not listened to the Triton One R so I can't say how they would compare to the Triton one but from what I've read, They're closer in line to the reference then the original Triton one. If you're happy with the Triton 2, you will be very happy with either the Triton one r or the reference. The only reason I skipped over the one r and went to the reference, was because I got a very good deal on them. Hope this helps. Happy shopping...

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I guess i should think about putting the References on my list, too... my new room's about 19' x 30', so I may need some extra grunt.
