Hey guys,

Has anyone got their hands on the schematics on the Triton Two towers. I am interested in what brand capacitors and resistors are being used. In my experience the stock crossover in most speakers has much room for improvement if you install audio grade components. I have done this to the big Polk SDA’s with great results.

Anyone else thinking about this or have tried this mod ???

Great sounding speaker but would love to hear it with the good innards inside.

TK

I would like to have confirmation for the sub-section crossover frequency for the Triton Ones. I believe I read that it is 100 Hz, but I would like that frequency confirmed. A corollary question, which applies to all the Active Tritons is: What is the expected frequency range for the signals fed directly into the sub section via the LFE connector?

The crossover is approximately 100 Hz. LFE (.1 channel information) signals, by defintion, can contain frequencies up to 120 Hz.

Mr. Moderator,

Thanks for your prompt reply, confirming the crossover frequency at 100 Hz for active Tritons.

Regarding your note that 0.1 channel LFE signals can contain information up to 120 Hz: Since the 0.1 channel LFE signal is being fed into the Triton LFE input, what becomes of LFE information with frequencies between 100 Hz and 120 Hz?

Thanks,

Art
