Hi Again Rick,

After a bit of study with my system, I decided to implement your thought. So, I have moved my SuperSat 3Cs to the rear of the room. They are driven by a separate AV Receiver and are currently connected as "Rear Fronts".

My current configuration is: Triton Ones are "Outside Fronts". Triton Sevens are "Inside Fronts (music)" and "Centers (movies)". Each pair driven by a separate AV Receiver. SuperSat 3Cs are "Rear Fronts" as described above.

I am just beginning to audition this setup. I'll report results in a future post.

Best,

Art

Hi, Art

That sounds like a great setup! Where before you could play T1's front, T7's "rear fronts", now for music you can have a dream front soundstage of T1's/T7's (that must sound great), with the Supersat 3C's filling in the rear fronts for an amazing surround experience. Yes, please let us know how it works out for you!

Hi Rick,

Thus far, I am enjoying this latest "new setup". I have the Rear 3Cs "cross-phased" - meaning that the L/R orientation is as I face the speakers. I adjust the 3Cs volume to "fill the room" but I am not aware of their presence as a sound source when I'm in my Listening Spot.

I believe that this arrangement makes the most and best use of my 3 sets of GE speakers. With each pair being separately driven, I have many adjustment options to vary the overall sound in the room. The T1s/Sevens combination as Fronts does offer an interesting sound array. The height difference between the Sevens and the Ones produces a complimentary sound effect. However, I think that being able to separately adjust the volume level is very important with regard to blending these two speaker sets.

Best,

Art
