Maybe a better question might be; "Moderator," Do "YOU" use an aftermarket power cord on your Triton 2's? If so, would "YOU" mind revealing which brand and model? If "YOU" use the factory cord only--but wanted to replace it--what would "YOU" use?

In his post above, the moderator already mentioned that Sandy uses aftermarket power cables...

Nvidia Shield 4k Media Player
Sonos Connect
Sony PS4 Pro

But....which aftermarket power cords...that is the 24 million dollar question. Like I said before, this question has been asked before, but never answered with a specific brand/model. Moderator...what do "YOU" use on your Triton 2's? It seems as though Sandy's power cord selection is a heavily guarded secret.

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hey gang -

Sorry for the mystery, not intended. No one seems to care what power cords were used at our trade show demos, so they never get written up. No secrets though, we've used Pangea and Shunyata cables (I believe Sandy uses, or used, the latter on his system) and we thought they were very good - but there hasn't been an opportunity to try other brands and compare. We used aftermarket ac cords on every piece of equipment in our demo rooms for every show you've read about (I'll let the press speak for itself in terms of the "total effect" of everything we do to make the systems sound spectacular). I think most audiophiles agree that all the little stuff adds up to something pretty special when taken as a whole.

Please keep in mind that our ac cords, included with the speakers, work fine. But, just like interconnects and speaker wire, you might find it worthwhile to try something more exotic. If you are just starting out in the exotic power cable world, I'd suggest starting with a shielded 14 gauge minimum power cable and see what you think. Keep lengths as short as will work for your setup.

OK, mystery revealed? :)

Part of what the Moderator Dude said above:
" I think most audiophiles agree that all the little stuff adds up to something pretty special when taken as a whole."

I have to give it to you Moderator Dude!!!
That one succinct sentence sums up my whole philosophy and approach to system building. Sensible, but not over the top.
I wasn't even following much on this thread, as I am happy with what I have (various), and am sure my ears cannot tell the difference in power cables alone. But I always read what MD says because he makes sense and I learn from him.
Enjoy the ride.
Thanks and
God Bless,
Wayne

LOL ... thanks, I think.

Brand opinions will have to come from users.
