I was planning on remaking my bedroom which means its not a dedicated home theater setup.
just a single TV in front of my bed with a presumably a stereo setup.
at first, i was wondering whether should go for the triton 3+ since its more within budget or should I for a 5.1 supersat, center and forcefield surround sound.
which one do you recommend is best?

I was thinking if triton 2+ and 3+ has a very big gap in sound quality then maybe i might spend more to get the 2+.
but what do all of you recommend?

Welcome MrKosim, glad to have you join our forum!!!!
We would probably need to know more to answer your questions very well, like is this bedroom setup mostly for movies or music?
And are you a fan of surround sound when you watch a movie in the bedroom, or are you ok with stereo?
Without knowing those things, let me offer the advice I offer all my friends who are buying speakers. Get the best speakers you can afford. Because you will use them and enjoy them for years and years. The extra money to buy the T 2+s will not be wasted, those speakers are SIGNIFICANTLY better, WAY better than the T 3+s IMHO.
The extra you pay will make a fantastic two channel setup now in your bedroom, and you can add to them later, OR, who knows they may become the focus of a really high end Home Theater in the future. You never know.
I would HIGHLY recommend the T2+s, they are amazing speakers.
Happy hunting, you can't go wrong here at GEt.
God Bless,
Wayne

Both movies and music, maybe even leaning towards movie.
I am a fan of surround sound but since my budget is limited and my room isnt that big, i was thinking maybe a good stereo sound will ultimately trump a mediocre surround sound. is that kind of thinking wrong?

sooooo, triton is a better choice overall? and significantly better.. like how better? since its almost an extra 1 thousand bucks for a pair.

Hey MrKosim,
I am a BIG fan of surround sound, but I have to be honest, I have never seen nor heard of it being done right in a bedroom where you are gonna lay on the bed and watch a movie.
IF anybody does know about that then I will let them chime in.
SO, given the above I recommend spending the extra for the Triton 2+s and YES they are more than a $1000 better. They have more power, ummmph, bass, resolution, they are just way more speaker and will enliven your listening experience with music and movies.
I would say in a bedroom situation they will kill it so well that you will not miss surround sound at all. BUT if and or when you move them outta the bedroom you have the fronts of any kind of great system you may want to build.
I am repeating myself here, sorry, but again my recommendation is to get the best speakers you can get.
Hope this helps,
God Bless,
Wayne

I have four SuperSat 3, a SuperSat 50C and a ForceField 3 in my master bedroom with a small-ish TV. It is absolutely spectacular (OK, the Anthem MRX 720 is probably a bit over the top for a bedroom system....) for watching TV or movies in surround sound. It is also extremely unobtrusive (center speaker is on top of the TV on a centerstage shelf, surrounds are on the top/back of the bedside tables), a must for most people in a bedroom. No, it is not the same experience as my full GET Home Theater with 110" screen, but there's no bed in the home theater. :)

that would mean that i will have no center speaker and will rely on two stereo sound.
that is good enough right considering its the triton 2+?
