That will be a great system!

Because of their configuration, we do suggest the HTR 7000s for height channels be placed slightly outside the listening area and then pointed toward the center of the listening space.

You're going to love that system! My set-up is very close to what you're configuring, and I've never looked back. Beats movie theater sound in every way, plays music that sounds like I'm in a concert hall.

When you're all installed and trying options, give 2 channel music upmixed to 9 channel Dolby Surround a try. Those 9 GEt speakers will be amazing. Like having a ticket to the concert!

Moderator Dude is the expert on HTR 7000 speaker placement. The only tip I can add is that when I was positioning my top front height 7000's before installing, I kept moving them outboard some until, placed just below the install position, the tweeters were aimed RIGHT at my ears at the PLP.... sitting there, the tweeters were on a direct aim at me, not a bit up or down from the PLP.

I am really looking forward to getting this gear and setting it up.

I just wanted to thank Rick, the Moderator and Wayne one more time. After a weekend of pulling wires through the attic in the Florida summer and cutting holes in the ceiling to install the HTR 7000s everything is in place and hooked up. The highlight so far has been watching the new season of Game of Thrones on the new system.

Still some work to do with running Anthem Room Correction again but I am very pleased with my choices.
