I just got some Triton 2+ and need recommendations for a good value DAC+integrated amp or Stereo AVR with an optical/S/PDIF input. I blew my budget on the speakers so the cheaper the better (sub-$1000 preferred)

All ideas much appreciated!

Something similar to the Emotiva TA-100 or Optoma NuForce DDA120?

What's your budget for an Integrated Amp?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Under 1k preferred. 2 channel is all I need.

An "integrated amplifier" is a stereo (2ch) device, always, by definition.

I am very pleased with my Cambridge Audio Azur 851A. It is not under $1K, but it is under $2K. Also, you need to consider your DAC. Your DAC does have a significant effect upon your music. Think carefully before spending money that might have been better applied to the right gear at a later time.

Best,

Art

Not sure what you can find them for used, but the Rogue Audio Sphinx is highly regarded if you want a tube-ish sound.
A friend has them driving his Magnapan 3.5s. I've heard that setup and it's excellent.
An audiophile store (goodwins in Boston) speaks very highly of them ("the best price / performance in the store").
I use a separates but a Rogue Hydra as my amp and love it...
2 channel -> GeT Ones.R, Rogue RP-7 pre, Kinki Studio B7 Monoblock amps fed by Oppo 105D, SonicTransport, OpticalRendu w/ 200,000 tracks, Rega RP8 w/ Garrott OPTIM S3 FGS Ruby + Sutherland 20/20 phono pre, PS Audio Powerplant 20
HT -> Marantz 7703, Butler Audio T5150 amp, GeT Ref mains
