So I'm new here. I am in the market for a new system and am not sure which way to go. For just about 3K I can get triton 3+ and a super center OR a supercinema 3D Array XL and a supersub X. I will of course add the supersats for the surround in either system. I have a small-medium sized room (15 x 12 x 8). Amp is an anthem MRX 520. I will be utilizing the system for 50% stereo and 50% TV.

My biggest question is the sonic difference for the two systems. If anyone has any thoughts, that would be very helpful.

Welcome to the forum mgeltzei,
I am sure you will find what you need with a GEt system.
There are lots of great choices and combinations.
I did not really understand the choice you mentioned, can you state that again?
I will say, buy the biggest and best speakers you can at every position, and save up for the next addition. You will keep these speakers for a long time, so get what you really want. It will probably serve in different systems in its lifetime, so get the best you can.

More a question of your space allocation and desired playback levels. The Tritons will take up floor space (and need some space around them), the 3D Array and the SuperSub, properly setup, will play much louder (especially at low frequencies for movies) than the Triton Three+.
