Hi There,

I'm a Goldenear fan with a SuperSat system in the family room and an awesome Triton 2 based music / home theater system in the play room. I also have Aon 3's on a stereo amp in the master bedroom and like the way they sound, even without a sub.

Now I'm looking for some background music speakers for the dining room we are renovating. We don't want floor standing speakers or a sub. Since we'll have limited shelf space, I'm tempted by HTR 7000's and the specs say they have a lower frequency response than the Aon 3's but do the HTR 7000's really have a deeper bass response without the large passive radiators of the Aon 3's? My dealer doesn't have HTRs setup to demo.
