I'm not convinced that it was only my amp that was the issue. Even the specifications between the Triton 7s and the Triton 2s show that the 2s are able to reach lower. Triton 2 is listed as 16 Hz bottom, while the Triton 7 is 29 Hz so there is certainly a difference in the speakers as well. I'll definitely look into a better amp later, maybe after my credit card recovers from the speakers.
