Exactly. The SuperSats are for Triton Two systems that don't have the space for the full size SuperCenters.

Ok Thankyou. It's good to hear I won't miss anything sound wise if I match the 60c with the Triton 2s instead of the xl.

In saying that moderator or anyone do you know when the Triton ones are coming to Australia? Would they again be a big improvement over the 2s? Would it be too much for the unit, they are just taller right?

Triton Ones should be in Australia soon, check with the distributor for their timetable. I think those might be too large for your room, but they are much more than just taller.

Thanks for your replies. I rang the dealer about the Triton 1's and he said he has no idea when they are coming and hasnt heard anything as yet. Moderator if you know anythign more please share. I am the kind of person that wants to buy as good as I can initially even if it is a bit of an overkill right now so the 1s I am starting to think about. Very quickly what benefits would the 1s give over the 2s?

I was also asking him about the 60C and he was telling me that the xl would have more "body" to the sound then the 60c. Keep in mind I trust what the moderator and people like Anthem and Wayne say more than him. I queried him on that and told him if it is crossed over correctly it should sound the same (using the info from this thread on what I have been told). He then checked the specs and agreed and said something like "there is no point in the xl" when I reminded him the triton 2s could take the lower frequencies instead of the xl. Basically from what I can see it is 36hz vs 50hz and for what I understand 50hz should be enough as most centre is crossed at about 70hz or so?

An odd thing he said to me was another option would be to use the Super Cinema 3d instead of the 60c as the centre? He said something along the lines of it has more speakers or something like that. I queried it because I said to him thats a soundbar and would be different and then he kind of agreed.

Moderator, I assume this isnt advised to run the supercinema 3d as the centre along with tritons or could (and more importantly should) it be used that way? To me logically the answer would be no.

There are discussions describing the differences between the Two and One in other threads on this forum.

Center performance and extension has a lot to do with room size, desired playback levels, and even personal preference. Get what fits and crossover accordingly and you'll be good.

The 3D Array is absolutely not a center channel alternative and I am embarrassed for the dealer that told you so.
