My home theater size is 14' wide x 24' long x 9' high. currently 10.1 system with Yamaha 2065 receiver.
I plan to replace the front 3 mains, I have a 10' projection system and well acoustically treated theater.
My questions are will the 7s be large enough or the 3s. I don't try to wake up the block. I would also
like to get rid of my B&W sub.
Thanks for any input.

Hello Wiggles,
I have a little smaller home theater than yours, and yours has acoustic treatment which will eat up some sound. I have Triton 2s and Triton 3s. I tried both and really prefer the 2s for the home theater. The 3s will work, don't get me wrong, but the 2s have more power and headroom, especially if you want to rely on the built in subs and do away with what you have now.
Triton 3s --- good. Triton 2s --- better.
IMHO.
Have fun with it, yours should be a great sounding home theater when you get the GoldenEars in there.
God Bless,
Wayne
