I'm planning to replace my current Def Tech surround system (BP7002s, CLR, rear speakers, etc.) with a much more living room friendly soundbar and sub pairing. I already own a Def Tech SuperCube II, and was looking at the Def Tech SSA 50 and 42 soundbars. I prefer not to use additional surround speakers. How would you expect the SSA-50 (paired with the SCII) to match up against the SC3D array (without surround speakers, and paired with the SCII)? I live in the DC Metro area, but can find no dealer that can demo both sound bars....it's tough finding anyone who stocks any of these products.

The 3D Array with your existing sub will be fine - just setup crossovers as recommended in the manual. Most of our dealers demo the 3D Array without surrounds and the results are excellent. I believe our DC area dealers have the 3D Array setup and ready to demo. Orders are filled in 1-2 days out of our KY warehouse.
