Thanks. What are your thoughts on moving the speakers closer? I feel like that would be best for the 650s. Would you agree?

Rears would be 30" behind, 7.5' straight diagonal. Fronts would be about 36" in front, 9' straight diagonal due to higher front ceilings.

I totally agree, moving them in closer will be better. There's a lot that can be done with receiver gain and distance settings to present the appropriate sound levels and timing at the listening position, but in the best of all worlds placing the sound source, the speakers, in the area that the sound mix intended the sound to emanate from will give the most realistic sense of what is happening where in the sound envelope..
