file MPX and wall proximity

I have been considering the MPX for left/right. Unfortunately, my left/right are forced to be ~16" from the side walls. Does the multi-polar nature of the MPX series make them more sensitive to wall proximity? Should i consider a different speaker type?

Sorry for the late reply, was hoping a user would answer you.

No worries on the wall proximity - the wide dispersion is desirable regardless of the nearby boundary. We suggest a minimum of 18" from side walls so you are not too far off. You may wish to dampen or diffuse the first reflection point with the wall being that close.
