HI,

I need some help from anyone w experience w atmos and invisa speakers. I am trying to plan setting up a room for possible 5.2.4 atmos using all ceiling speakers except for rear surrounds. The room is about 19'L x 13'.6"W. projection screen is about 3' out from front wall. I was wondering if I would be able to do an atmos setup with 4 invisa 650's for atmos duty and using 3 htr7000 as front left center and right channels in ceiling.. where I have a projection screen mounted, the htr7000 l/c/r speakers would need be right in front it about 8" in front of screen. the left/right speakers be about 8' apart . the l/c/r would be about 11'6" from mlp and that leaves me about 3' feet ceiling space behind my couch. I have aeon 2's at very back of room 3 ft behind couch in back corners of the room.

-Is that enough distance to make it seem like the l/c/r (htr7000's) are actually ear level speakers?
-Does that leave enough space between wherever I mount in ceiling atmos speakers to create separation of sound levels using all ceiling speakers fro l/c/r speakers and height channels?
thanks-rob

Without actually seeing the room we are hesitant to make any suggestions. That said, 10' ceiling is good for Invisa 650 Height speakers. HTR 7000 L/C/R at just under 12' from MLP with a 10' ceiling is tough to say. The 12' distance with an 8' ceiling is in the range so this should be OK. The L/R really should be further apart if possible, equal to the listening distance if possible.
