I am indeed. It's a Snell ICS Sub 24 mk3 located right below the soundbar. I'll have to just stick with that for now (budgetary reasons), but in the future I might move it behind the seats and then add a GE sub in its place.

Hi and welcome!

Great answers from the forum members, as usual. Just chiming in to say yes, the HTR 7000s in that location in a 5.1 system will be great.

Great to hear! Appreciate you and Rick both taking time to look at my layout and confirm.

From the 7000 manual, it looks like I'll want to point them both at the MLP (basically pointing at each other). Sound right?

I have my 7000’s pointing right at my ears in the PLP, same as I did for my front towers. So, I guess I’d say, since your surrounds will be slightly behind your PLP, that they should be aimed slightly forward, right at your PLP.
I literally sat in the PLP and satisfied myself they were pointing right at my ears before tightening them down and buttoning up.
Anyway, that’s how I did mine.
Have fun and enjoy the process. You’re gonna’ love the result!!
