I have searched the forums for an answer for back boxes for the HTR7000. It looks like 1.6 or 1.7 cu ft is the general consensus. For the life of me I can’t find the dimensions of that size box. I have a double drywall room and don’t want to start drilling things in the ceiling to put the speakers so wanted to do surface mount boxes. Any help would be helpful. I am looking for the lowest profile without hurting performance. These speakers are for an Atmos ceiling effects. Not L C R. Thx

The boxes that Goldenear used to hang from the ceilings at demos, etc, have the internal dimensions of 23 inches by 13.5 inches by 8 inches for about 1.4 cu ft. They were made of 3/4 MDF.

I modified those dimensions I got from Goldenear Support to actually put a MPX in a column for my side surrounds to go inside my Double drywall shell. Not up and running yet, just fabricated.

Trying to figure out what I want to do with my ceiling as well.
