file Placement for HTR7000 Atmos height speakers

Hello,

I recently purchased a pair of HTR7000 for Atmos. I am unsure of where they need to be placed.

According to a diagram on the GE website it looks like a pair should be in front of the listening position and a pair behind.

I would also like to know what direction should the speakers be in?

The height speakers should all be aimed toward the middle/center of the listening area. For 8' (approx) ceilings, the rear heights should be slightly behind the listening area and just beyond the far left/right corners of the listening area. Fronts should be similar L/R and forward of the listening area, but no further forward than halfway between front main speakers and listening area. The updated owners manual (available on the website) includes some information on height channel placement as well.

Upstairs: SuperCinema 3 (SVS SB-2000 though), Denon AVR E-400
Downstairs: Triton 2+, SCXXL, MPX's on the sides, HTR's up top, rears ?? Marantz SR7010, PB-2000
