Hi,

I heard some Invisia-series speakers recently and loved the sound. I am looking for some in-wall LCR speakers and the Invisia MPX look like they'll fit the bill almost perfectly.

I wish to mount the center speaker horizontally beneath the TV - which appears to be something NOT recommended for the MPX due to the dipole-style directional woofers on it which would then be pointing up/down rather than left/right. Is this correct information?

So, if I cannot mount the MPX horizontally beneath the TV, what would be a recommended in-wall speaker to use for the center channel?

I'm not opposed to using an Invisia 650 for the center with a square grille. The room is relatively large (4-5m listening distance). Would that work okay? Are there any other solutions recommended for such a layout?

Cheers,
Chris.

We do not suggest any in-wall for center speaker because the TV is in the way (unless we are talking an acoustically transparent screen, in which case use an MPX vertically just like the L/R). We suggest using a SuperSat center model (probably the SuperSat 50C or, better yet, 60C) with the MPX, mounted directly above or below the TV (preferably, attached to the TV mount). If architectural is required, an HTR-7000 in the ceiling for the center is a good alternative, if the room geometry allows for it.

Thanks moderator dude!

Where can I find the mounting requirements or options for the SuperSat speakers?

Specifically, what are the options for the "attached to the TV mount" part.

I do have a wall mounted flat panel, and I could possibly pull back the center channel cable to behind the TV.

Otherwise I'll be on-wall mounting one where I expected to have an in-wall and would have to try and run the cable out of the wall invisibly behind it.

The SuperSats have 1/4-20 threaded inserts on the back that can be used with universal soundbar brackets and your existing TV wall mount.
