My current setup is:
Panasonic Viera mounted over fireplace
Anthem amp and preamp
Aon 2 front left and right
Sat 50 for center
Forcfield 4

I am considering adding rear speakers and considering using the Invisa speakers. Mounting will probably be in the ceiling. I am looking for an opinion as to whether this is a good idea and which model, the 525 or the 650.

Fine, and popular, idea. The Invisa 525 will be fine with an appropriate crossover for surrounds. Depending on location, you might prefer the Invisa HTR 7000, which project an image into the room instead of playing from the ceiling.

Thank you for your reply. I am not sure what you mean by the appropriate crossover. I'm afraid the 7000 are out of the current budget.

However, I want this to sound outstanding. Will the Invisa 7000 overwhelm the other speakers mentioned before?

The advantage to the Invisa HTR 7000 is that the sound doesn't appear to come from the ceiling, as it will in a traditional in-ceiling speaker like the Invisa 525 and 650. Some people don't care for the sound of surround tracks from above (and many more are just fine with it and it is a very popular application) so the HTR-7000 is a solution. Sonically, they are designed to be very similar. The 7000 is the "biggest" and has the FocusField Technology - and therefore is the most "hifi".

I'd like to know about this as well. Here is a quick mockup of my room. The room is about 10' by 10'

I plan on putting a SuperCinema 3D Array under the TV, and then wanted to use invisa for surrounds. The main listening/viewing area will be me sitting on the foot of the bed, but I may want to watch sometimes while laying down (with my head in the corner). I know this isnt the best, but its what I have to work with. I am just worried that when my head is in the corner that I will be directly under one of the surround. Which would be the best Invisa for this situation?
