I just wonder can one upgrade the Triton ones to Triton one Rs & is it worth it?..Is it going to be plug n Play or the speakers need to be shipped to the GE factory .

The short answer is No. The T1 is the T1 & the T1 R is the T1 R. One can mod the T1 but it's still a T1. Theoretically, the T1 & T1 Rs are two totally different speakers. If you want the T1 Rs, you will need to buy the T1 Rs.

I am totally impressed by the ones so I moved my 2s to the rear have the ones in the front & XL doing the center duty & my goodness the setup sounds awesome. ample bass when's needed. I am not happy about that blue glow from the back of the ones , the 2s have the green glow.

Don't like the Blue Glow? Problem solved. A piece of Green Frog Tape over the blue light will do the trick. For your late night "Red District" listening pleasure, they even make a Red tape.
