What should I set my speakers at Large or Small? And why? They are set at all small.

Hi Atriker and welcome here!!!! Good questions and great speakers, you are gonna have a great sounding setup.
First let me ask you, do you have a subwoofer? I know the TOnes have built in subs, but do you have a free standing sub?
Do you listen to music only, or is this for home theater as well? I am assuming home theater since you have a center and rear speakers.
So, IF that is the case, small is correct for the rear/surround speakers because they cannot play the bass notes, set them at small and 100 or at the lowest 80. This will send any bass sound to your LFE.
Center XL, set to small, and 80 for the same reason. The XL can play a little lower but it needs to be playing dialogue and upper register music that it can do well, not trying to play bass that it cannot get down to.
TOnes to Large, as they CAN play bass. Except where is the bass gonna go that you took away from the surrounds and center channel?
IF you have an external sub, then the LFE channel will be connected to it and that bass will all go there. BUT
IF you do not have a stand alone sub, then you need to set your TOnes to small, possibly set them at 40 or so, and then connect the sub output on your receiver (you are using a receiver I am guessing???) left and right to the LFE inputs on your TOnes.
Then the TOnes will play all their own bass below 40 there AND play the bass from the center and surrounds as well.
AND will sound terrific as they play it. The TOnes are wonderful, very capable speakers, truly some of the best for the money.
I hope this helps, but others may help as well, perhaps correcting me or adding something else.
We are willing to help any way we can.
Enjoy your movies and music. And don't be a stranger, let us know what is working out for you.
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

No, not correct. Start by reading the setup tips page on our website support menu. Reading the manuals can help too. Wayne is correct, Triton Ones must be set to Large.

This is why we have dealers - is there some reason your dealer can not assist with basic hookup and setup of your system? You seem very confused and this is not the right way to get the most out of your expensive speaker purchase.

If you are able to read instructions in English (sorry, that's all we have) you should use this: www.goldenear.com/support/setup-tips ... and the owners manuals that come with the speakers.

Here are the basic setup instructions for your system, if you are unsure how to follow them, I suggest you go back to your dealer for help:
  1. Locate the speakers in the room in the positions suggested in the manuals and in the Sandy's Setup Tips document
  2. Connect each Triton One to the Left and Right speaker outputs of your receiver and to each LFE-In from the sub out on your receiver. Connect the center and surround speakers to the appropriate speaker terminals on the receiver
  3. Set the woofer volume on each Triton speaker to the 12 o'clock position
  4. Set left/right Main to LARGE, set Subwoofer to YES
  5. Set Center to SMALL, crossover at 80HZ
  6. Set Surrounds to SMALL, crossover at 100 HZ
  7. Set distances (measure the distance to each speaker)
  8. Set volume levels for each speaker using the test tone calibration menu on the receiver and an SPL meter
  9. Turn off all audio processing, dynamic range controls, tone controls, room EQ, etc on the receiver.
  10. Listen to the system this way, adjust the bass level on the back of the speakers to suit your taste and room, then make changes as desired after you are familiar with how it is supposed to sound
