I've been thinking of painting the base and cap of the Triton for some time. I removed both and took them to an auto body place that I've been frequenting lately( not out of choice). I had a few fender benders and they know me quite well by now. The paint job is immaculate, very glossy and indistinguishable from brand new except of course the GoldenEar logo is covered up. Although not as elegant as the new Reference, I think this jazzes the One up a bit, removes some of that monolithic look. Anyway, I'm happy.

How retro looking, They look fine, looks like they should be standing on one of those high society black and white marble squares floors.

Looks pretty kewl. Nice workmanship too. To bad they couldn't have or chose not to mask the Golden Ear logo.

Idea...

Maybe GET should develop a sticker type decal!
