Thanks Fried One,
I don't have any knowledge of equipment like the Stream Magic, you made me look it up and it does look interesting.
IF you were just interested in 2 channel, then that would make a pre-amp or a good start on a pre-amp, to use with some separate amps and perhaps an awesome sound.
Glad you are enjoying the T2s, let us know what you think of the Ones by comparison???? PLEASE.
Oh, heck, don't get me wanted any better GEs.
I hope you can have such a great Christmas treat!!!!
Keep us informed, please,
and enjoy the listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hey Wayne,
How are you. I picked up my Stream Magic 6 V2 this Friday. I have been listening to it most of last night and today. I am so impressed with the build quality of Cambridge Audio. I also have their Azur 751BD bluray player. Another great component. The sound quality of internet audio now is just simply stunning. My Tritons are sounding so amazing. I am very happy with this purchase. I have also plugged in a storage drive filled with my 24Bit FLAC files. It is just stunning. As for my experience with demoing the Ones. It has such a big soundstage. So crisp and clear. Mind you it was running on dual McIntosh Mono Amplifiers. One per channel at $10,000 each. The thickest Kimber speaker cable with thickest Kimber AC cables on both speakers and all Amps and Pre-amps. I was blown away. If I had an amplifier set up that I was satisfied with I would upgrade to the Ones.

I looked at the Marantz AV8801 and MM8077. The review of these units are very impressive. Thank you for the link. I also looked at Yamaha's CX5000 and MXA5000. Both pairs are being offered as a bundle and going for the same price. What are your thoughts of Yamaha's offering against the Marantz bundle. I will next upgrade my Routers Cat 5 to Cat 7. Been reading that there is quite an improvement switching to the Cat 7. Also going to upgrade my drives USB for the Flacs. I now just have to make the decision on the Amplifier Bundle. I think separates is the way to go. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Best Regards.

Hi Fried One,
I am doing well, thanks, and you?
We don't stream over here where I live, at least not out in the country outside of Bangkok. A 3 min song would last more than 10 mins here. Glad you like the CAmbridge Audio and are getting great tunes.
The Triton 2s are amazing, but IF you are thinking about the T Ones, they should not be that hard to amp.
Of the Marantz vs Yamaha question, I would go with Marantz, but I am prejudiced.
I bet the Marantz duo would power the T Ones just fine.
I use the Vincent Hybrid (some tube, some transistor) SP-T800 mono blocks. They can power the T 2s to my total satisfaction, I bet they would be magic with the Ones. As would LOTS of other amps I am sure.
A nother way to look at it is, hi-fi is a journey, just build the best system you can one piece or so at a time.
Keep us informed, and enjoy the ride,
Thanks and God Bless,
Wayne
