What power amp or receiver are Triton 7 owners using?

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Triton 7's (gift for my parents actually) and am planning to upgrade their amp sometime in 2014. The Odyssey Stratos is currently at the top of my list.

It seems by your posts that you feel the Stratos is a weak link in your system. A few questions regarding that.

What amp did you use before the Stratos?
Have you reached out to Klaus about your concerns with your system's sound?

I use my Triton 7 only for 2 channel music. For home theater, the Triton 2 or 3 may be better because of the powered subwoofer. Since I only use it for music, I upgraded my previous amp to the Yamaha A-S2000 and I am very pleased with it. I am told (but have not personally heard) that the A-S1000 is almost as good and is closer to the price range you quoted. Let us know which amp you picked and how it sounds.
