Hey everyone.
I have owned this sub since 2011-2012, plus other Golden Ear speakers. I've been a huge fan since day one.
In the last year, I can't help but notice the sub is starting to develop a rattle during high frequency bass hits.
My first thought was a loose screw, but I cannot seem to find any screws loose anywhere. I checked the feet, I checked the sub itself, the bottom, the back plate, and even inside. I'm not sure what else to look for.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Let's see what the moderator suggests. Wonder if some piece of bracing came lose.

Bracing? Like the box itself?

Internal bracing...could be a shelf to some other form of a brace and it came loose and is rattling.

Take it back to the dealer for evaluation and warranty repair. It is unlikely that it is the cabinet or the driver, about 90+% of random noises are due to an amplifier problem.
