Hello,

I am running a FF4 with a pair of triton two's, a SS50c centre, and Aon 2's for the rear.

I currently have the sub volume at between the 8-9 o'clock position, and the crossover dial set to 120. I have noticed that at certain frequencies the sub seems to really shake and vibrate quite significantly, to what almost sounds like a lot of rattling. I even have the sub on top of a folded type yoga mat to try and reduce this (although the sound is prevalent both with and without the mat). It's causing me a little bit of concern, would hope to hear some advice and opinions.

Thank you.

Rattling is almost always caused by an air leak. Return the sub to your dealer for repair or replacement.

Ok thank you, unfortunate, but c'est la vie, the centre and the sub, bad luck.

Yikes - sorry, didn't notice that this was from the same member. Very unusual, makes me wonder if the products suffered transit abuse. The air leak may be something as simple as a loose screw or a folded gasket. If you turn the sub upside down and push on the passive radiator you will probably hear the air leak and can perhaps identify and easily fix. We have had VERY few of these in new production (it was an initial production issue that was addressed two years ago). If it is not an air leak when you push the passive it won't move. In which case I guessed wrong and there must be another issue (noisy driver perhaps). Sorry again for the troubles.

No worries, I'll try what you suggested later in the day.

I did ask our dealer if others have had any issues with any of your products, he said no, and most of their shipment was sold out.

So my guess is it's just Murphy showing me the Law.
