Hello to all;

Very new to this so I'll make my question brief.

I have a 5.1 system using Triton 3+s as fronts with a ForceField 4 sub and SuperSat 3s as rear speakers. My center speaker is a Klipsch RP 450C. I'm thinking about a change to the Super Center Reference. Would this be an audible improvement or just a sideways movement? My Pre/Pro is a Marantz AV7705 and the amp is an Outlaw Audio 5000.
Thanks for your opinions.

Hi, Nos4ah2

I suspect that most folks on the forum haven't heard the two to compare. I haven't either, so just a few thoughts on the subject.

First, best of all would be if your GoldenEar dealer could lend you a SC Ref for a direct in home audition and comparison. Short of that, can you audition the SC Ref at the dealer?

I have the SC Ref, and it is an amazing speaker IMO. Just so clean, smooth, musical, brings out every detail and nuance in the audio. And with it's three passive bass radiators, it can go amazingly deep, with absolutely clean bass. I don't know how the tonal fit is between the Klipsch and your GoldenEar speakers, the SC Ref for sure would play absolutely seamlessly with and complement your front Triton 3+'s.

Good luck finding an answer to your question!
