I will be purchasing the TritonCinema Two Cinema system this weekend. Curious if the following reciever will be sufficient. One salesmen told me I should be spending $1000 or more on a reciever for this system, but hoping to hear otherwise.

Reciever I Want To Purchase:
Denon AVR-2312CI 7.2 (735-Watt)

Power Per Channel - Stereo (RMS)
105 W - All Channels Rated @ 0.08 THD

Also, I have read that its better to not connect the subwoofers seperately into the reciever, and just use the standard Front Left/Right inputs. Is this true?

Or would it be better to connect each subwoofer into its own sub output (this reciever has 2 sub outputs).

Thanks,

The Denon will be fine. Hook up the Triton Two L/R Mains with speaker wire connection only. Do not use the sub outputs/inputs. Set the L/R as "Large", Center and Surrounds as "Small" (120 Hz crossover) and Subwoofer as "No". Start with a 10 o'clock setting on the Tritons' bass control and adjust to taste and room. Enjoy!
