Sorry to read of your presumed speaker problem, Trebor. I could only recommend that you perform basic troubleshooting. As the issue is with one speaker, perhaps swap the channel on the amp it is connected to and see/hear if the problem follows. You might also try another set of speaker wire as it is conceivable albeit unlikely there is a short in your cable. Also swap the electric outlet to something else. If you have it plugged in to anything other than directly to the wall, remove those other devices. Compare the light status and flash sequence to that of the speaker that working properly. Also contact your dealer. Best of luck.

If you have not tried this already, remove the speaker wire to this speaker and then unplug the AC power for 30 minutes. After 30 min plug the speaker's AC power in again (with speaker wire still disconnected). If the noise happens again it would seem that amp is malfunctioning and should be replaced. Contact your dealer who should be able to help with that.

Sorry for the trouble and I hope we can help resolve this soon.

I'm having a similar problem.

One speaker only. Very loud noise, and only disconnecting power will make it stop. Tried disconnecting the LFE cable, swapping L/R connections, even switching power cords. Same speaker each time.

Hoping the amp repair won't set back too much.

It sounds like your speaker's amp is acting up. The most expedient path for replacing that amp is through the dealer from whom you purchased them. Please contact them to arrange the repair.
