Finally finished building my stand to hold my new SuperCenter XXL! The thing is such a long beast and I couldn't find a stand low enough beneath my screen so I decided to get crafty and build one.

I built it off another idea posted on the internet under searching for DIY center speaker stand. The XXL is so long that I decided to build two support legs instead of one in the middle like the example I found. I got 2 pieces of Unfinished Pine Stair tread from the local big box store. (it's near the stair case wood items) It's only $12.65 a piece. One side has a rounded edge that I used for the front of the piece. Then I got some true black wood stain. I still have to put some Polyurethane on it. I drilled a 5/16 hole through each leg and used a bolt & nut to hold the center piece of wood. I could then angle both sides to point the speaker directly at my head.

Wanted to share if anyone else is struggling for great placement for their XXL. Share if you end up doing the same or have any questions!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your custom made stand is excellent. Great look and I love the up angle toward the ears. Nice, no very nicely done. Congrats. Get that urethane on their before you accidentally scratch the top surface.
