I have slightly widened the spacing between my Triton One Fronts - spacing is now about 8 feet and I am about 13 feet from the speakers. I have toed the speakers in such that the "line of sight" angles meet at a point about 6 feet from the speakers. As Mr. Moderator stated, this toed-in position significantly improves the sound for my wife, who is listening while sitting to the side. She is near the left speaker, but does not now hear it predominantly because it is pointed away from her and the right speaker, although considerably further away from her, is pointed much more toward her spot.

I am happy with what I will describe as a "tighter" sound pattern. I can still hear separation, but the sounds blend in front of me, so differences in stereo separation from recording to recording are reduced.

It is a smaller soundstage, but more suited to my room configuration.

At least, for now....

Happy Listening,

Art
