Hi Art. Yeah, I'm basically just being inquisitive. I have no need for LFE (additional or "other" bass) when it comes to two channel music, which is my primary listening experience. I was thinking that after I get the Oppo and pipe video sound track through my amp that I could somehow reap some additional audio benefit by using the LFE. I'd likely have to connect the LFE to the Oppo in that case and as I mentioned previously I intend to configure the Oppo for two channel. Even if I configured for multi-channel I'd then need to contend with two volume controls (my amp and the Oppo) and perhaps other configuration settings. Convoluted  As I've also posted elsewhere and to reiterate I'm very happy with the overall sound I'm getting. So you know the saying, "if it ain't broke don't fix it", and I intend to abide by that :cheer: Just can't help thinking that both the LFE inputs on the Triton's and pre-outs on my amp are totally unused.

I thought it would.

You can use your Triton One LFE section by connecting the LFE inputs to the LFE output of your AV Receiver. Only LFE-derived signals would be sent when you are listening to multi-channel sources.

You could connect your amp pre-outs to a separate powered sub for 2-channel listening.
